About Nikita Van den bosch

Nikita Van den Bosch, a 28-year-old artist residing in the town of Boom, Belgium, is a illustrator and ceramist whose work beams with joy and color. Her unique artistic style is characterized by its cute figures and vivid color palette. She graduated from her master in Illustration in 2017 at Sint Lucas Antwerp School of Arts. After that, she traveled to Japan for 4 months. 

 

 

Nikita's work draws inspiration from a fascinating blend of fairy tales, surrealism and Japanese culture. Whether she's working digitally or exploring various traditional techniques, Nikita's signature style shines through. Her repertoire includes Ceramics, frame animation, screen printing, and painting, showcasing her versatility and commitment to artistic exploration.

 

Beyond her artistry, Nikita has a keen intrest in Japanese culture, cute fashion, traveling and has a big heart for cats! wich you will find a lot of in her work.

 

She also works as a volunteer with the Tuig organization. Tuig orchestrates a diverse array of opportunities for illustrators and graphic designers, including exhibitions, markets, podcasts, and a free illustration paper, enriching the creative landscape. for example the Tuigmarket and the ‘Poezen in het bos’ expo in Antwerp. 

 

Nikita's recent accomplishment includes a captivating mural for Fiberklaar in Aartselaar, wich is inspired by the story of alice in wonderland. in the same theme she also graduated from ceramic school with a big tea set worthy of a mad hatter tea party.

 

Moreover, she generously imparts her ceramic wisdom through workshops, spreading her love for the craft and nurturing future artists.
